The Firm
Our Team
Gadget Capital was founded by two technical Managing Partners who
combine modern portfolio theory with crypto-native execution.
Leadership
Corinne Powers, PhD
Managing Partner
Corinne leads Gadget Capital's quantitative risk framework, including dynamic models,
portfolio optimization, and the systems that govern position sizing and exposure limits. She brings ten
years of experience developing data-driven intelligence systems at Expanse (acquired by Palo Alto
Networks), Leanplum, and Retina AI. She earned her PhD in Engineering from Stanford University and holds
dual bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Mathematics from Duke University.
Chris Horn
Managing Partner
Chris leads market execution at Gadget Capital, building the proprietary infrastructure
that enables direct deployment into decentralized trading platforms without centralized intermediaries.
With nine years operating in decentralized finance and seven years building blockchain-based financial
systems, he brings rare technical depth at the protocol layer where yield originates. He holds a B.S. in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Who We Serve
Accredited Individuals
For qualified individuals seeking portfolio diversification into digital
assets without managing the technical complexity of decentralized markets directly. We handle execution,
custody, and risk. You receive quarterly reporting and direct access to the investment team.
Institutional Allocators
For institutions evaluating exposure to decentralized finance as a return
source that moves independently of traditional stock and bond markets. We provide systematic process
documentation, independent fund administration, audited financials, and the operational controls
institutional due diligence requires.
Family Offices & Advisors
For family offices and wealth managers exploring digital asset allocation on
behalf of clients. We offer tailored communication, portfolio-fit analysis, and a direct line to the
managing partners who oversee every position.
